The flow of your wedding
From start to finish you want your wedding theme to flow, from wedding stationery to your favours and table plans. Think about your interests, hobbies or colours. Bride and Grooms have surprised me over the years and come up with some fabulous themes.
Whether your favourite programmes are Game of Thrones or Harry Potter, you can name your tables after your favourite characters or film titles. Also, why not add a little wedding favour for your guests to enjoy. A chocolate wand or potion perhaps.
Wedding themes from the USA
Other ideas I’ve come across over the years are…. American theme if the happy couple are planning a trip to New York, they’ve named their tables after major landmarks. And also had their wedding cupcakes made with a New York theme as well as a candy cart with a replica Brooklyn Bridge on.
More personalised themes
How about where you first met, what here could you incorporate into your wedding theme. Make your theme personalised, one of my couples met on twitter so they had all things blue with the iconic bluebird as a theme.
Consider the time of year too. Spring has Easter and new flowers in bloom. Summer with ice cold Pimms for your guests. For Autumn you can go with fireworks, sparklers and rustic colours. Or opt for the Winter Wonderland theme. Whatever your wedding themes are, try incorporate something that means something to both of you.
