Palm House, is located in the heart of Liverpool and is the focal point of Sefton Park. With its grand glass conservatory structure, surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens. This amazing Grade II Victorian 3 tiered dome building was built in 1896 and it originally housed the most exotic plants. After the damage from the War, the building was re-glazed in 1950.
It wasn’t long after the building began to deteriorate and wasn’t safe for visitors. Years later, a huge ‘Save the Palm House’ campaign went underway, raising money for it to be restored to its former glory. Palm house was partially repaired and opened to visitors once again in 1993.
Now part of the Heritage Lottery, Palm house was fully resorted in 2001 and is now one the most highly visited sights in Liverpool and hosts the most amazing entertainment events along with the most lavish style Sefton Park Palm House Weddings.
Weddings at Palm House are ideal all year round, if you’re worried about the typical British weather. You’re wedding will have the outdoor feel you’ve always wanted.
