Over the course of my career as a Liverpool wedding photographer, I’ve been lucky enough to photograph happy couples tying the knot in some of the most picturesque venues across North West wedding venues.

Here I feature some of the more popular wedding venues in the North West and obviously my favourite.
Peckforton Castle, Cheshire
As you pass through the magnificent gatehouse, and sweep up the long drive, it’s obvious why Peckforton Castle has become such an in-demand wedding venue. A wedding here, set amongst the castle’s red sandstone walls and marble floors, a place that’s steeped in romance and surrounded by rolling Cheshire countryside, makes for the most beautiful photo opportunities. Knowsley Hall, Merseyside
Voted Merseyside’s Best Wedding Venue for the past two years running, Knowsley Hall is Merseyside’s only stately home. The earliest part of today’s building dates from around 1500 and the the Hall today boasts a magnificent redbrick Georgian façade and luxurious Jacobean, Baroque and Victorian interiors. With a grand staircase, stucco ballroom and state dining room, this is the perfect spot to wed your very own Mr Darcy!
Thornton Manor, Merseyside
Thornton Manor, in Thornton Hough, on the Wirral, allows you some fantastic venue for your wedding. The Manor House itself is the perfect location for the picture perfect dream wedding. The decoration, antique features and stunning artwork will take your breath away. While, their Lakeside Marquee is a popular choice for summer weddings and the Waterside Pavilion is a gorgeous venue that can accommodate 200 guests.
