Eccentric pop star Lady Gaga has been inundated with material from designers all wanting her to wear their specially designed dresses down the aisle when she marries her fiancé, Taylor Kinney.
The singer, whose hits include ‘Poker Face’ and ‘Bad Romance’, used Instagram to posted a picture of her sporting an engagement ring to announce to her fans that she was indeed set to walk down the aisle.
That’s not where it ended though, as she later posted on her Twitter page:
“Thanku to all the very special & generous designers who designed over 30 wedding dresses 4 the most important day of my life. I’m speechless”
It appears that the announcement of Gaga’s upcoming nuptials led to a furious bidding war, with a host of designers each trying to outdo each other for the prize of having their designs draped around the pop star on her special day.
Regardless of the wedding dress though, Lady Gaga will surely have the day recorded by a top wedding photographer. North West England may indeed not be the location the pop star is using for her special day, but the area is awash with a comprehensive wedding industry, so that a party in the Gaga mould could surely be arranged here if need be.
As for the dress that the pop star decides to wear, it may be that several costume changes are needed, though this is surely something she would be used to.
