A wedding invite posted onto online photo sharing site Imgur seemed to initially show a loving couple in an embrace, though closer inspection showed that the gentleman in question had in fact Photoshopped a velociraptor into the background.
The bride-to-be, named Amy, seemed to take it in good jest as it appeared to be her that had posted it online as a warning to other brides to keep an eye on what wedding tasks their future husbands were doing.
Amy and husband Ben appear to be doing well as they approach their third anniversary, and those who want to see the pictures of the wedding invitation can look at them on Imgur or the Metro website.
Perhaps the time that has passed allowed husband Ben to be brave, with a caption below a close up of the photo saying:
“If you think i won’t hide a velociraptor somewhere in my wedding invitations, you are wrong…”
This may seem a little off the wall, though it certainly does speak to a trend within the wedding industry, with many looking to spice up their wedding photos. North West England may not play host to the now extinct velociraptor, though couples should not be afraid to let their imagination go, and should also be sure to hire a skilled professional to execute their ideas.
For Ben and Amy though, they can be assured that most of the people who have viewed their unusual wedding invitation have reacted positively.
