Hannah & Craig held their wedding at Mottram Hall, Wilmslow. Surrounded by parkland and a gorgeous ornamental lake. Mottram Hall was formally a country house but now is a renowned wedding venue in Cheshire, the perfect wedding venue for the most fabulous couple.
Hannah was so excited, she said she didn’t sleep very well at all. Waking up at 4am as she was so looking forward to the day. Hannah had so much help in the morning of the wedding, it was lovely to have such a buzzing house. Her parents, bridesmaids, sister, sister-in-law, friends, brothers, even the pageboys and flower girl were all on hand to get the party started. Hannah’s beautiful dress was a Sassi-Halford design called Ruby, from Bridal Haven, Tarporley, along with her hair clips and veil. With bridal shoes from Rachel Simpson.
Craig on the other hand was relatively relaxed. He enjoyed a family meal the night before and as he was getting ready at the hotel, he had everything he needed. In the morning, he said, ‘all I had to do was put his suit on and have last minute pep talks from his parents and groomsmen’. Very organised! He said, ‘Once I arrived at the church it was good to see all our friends and family and have a chat, helping me to relax. The only time I got nervous was when everyone was seated in the church. The of course, waiting for Hannah’s arrival’. The church was dressed beautifully, with flowers from Hartleys Nurseries in Lydiate, along with the buttonholes, corsages and bouquets to match. It really was just the perfect touch.
Their wedding cake, made by Hannah’s Aunt, had a journey of its own. Being transported all the way from Northern Ireland via the Irish Sea, fortunately unscathed despite it being a bit of a rough crossing. Hannah said, her most memorable part of their day was meeting Craig at the alter. All the stress and worries of the morning disappeared instantly. Seeing Hannah walk down the aisle, knowing that she wanted to be his wife was the best part of Craigs day. The perfect match.
With a lovely journey in their wedding car, by Horgans Cars. It was their first time spent together as a married couple and they loved every minute of it. It’s rare I found for a bride and groom to have a moment together to reflect on the day, this time in the wedding car must be so welcoming. Plus having their guests waving as they left the church, completed the favourite part of their wedding day.
The evening was just as joyous. Alison from Lasting memories, dressed the venue as well as the table decorations making Mottrom Hall look even more stunning. For this Cheshire wedding Photographer, any wedding at Mottram Hall is an auspicious day, but with Hannah & Craig it was truly magical.
Enjoy this collection of my favourite wedding photographs from their day.
