The Lowry – Manchester wedding venue
Lucky for them they had me, the greatest photography showman, on hand to capture the magic and theatrics of their amazing nuptials.
Before the beautiful Lane couple visited my award winning studios and fell deep in love with Matthew Rycraft Photography’s work, they had set their sights on the Manchester city centre based breathtaking artistic wedding venue of the Lowry.
Having shot weddings around the Lowry a number of times, I know the dockside venue offers a unique, vibrant and creative backdrop to any special day. It really is a unique wedding venue in Manchester.
The Lowry Theatre space
Thanks to their well maintained contacts and great relationship with the Manchester wedding venue. They had a bespoke photo shoot in the grand Lowry Theatre space, normally reserved only for performances and kept away from most wedding parties.
I look back with great fondness at the images of the Lane’s solo shoot inside the theatre space. The crimson red seating a perfect backdrop to the ivory white and royal blue of the Bride & Groom’s sophisticated wedding attire.
Views of the Manchester ship canal
Often a venue is sold on how beautiful its atmosphere and aesthetics are and the Lowry Manchester is no different. It was a pleasure to capture the stunning Beccy and Shaun as they lovingly exchanged their vows before views of the iconic Manchester ship canal.
Later as myself and my award winning Matthew Rycraft Photography wedding team documented the reception, we caught an incredible array of Manchester wedding photographs within the glass walled panoramic dining room.
The evening location all lit up
Once the sun dipped behind the high rise skyscrapers of Manchester, the stars came out and I invited the Lanes to join me on the banks of the historic ship canal and quayside to take a series of memorable and intimate couple shots to really capture the special bond the pair will now share for the rest of their days.
There really are few venues quite like the Lowry.
The Rycraft wedding experience
I always pride myself on ensuring the couples I work with get the very best wedding experience right from the first moment they step through the door of my studios and learn about the award winning world famous photography of Matthew Rycraft.
And it’s my passion, compassion, care and detailed eye with I believe makes a lifelong connection and lasting impression with those who pick me to represent them.
It was my pleasure
For the Lanes, this is absolutely no different and I could not have envisaged how much of a pleasure it would be to keep working with the beautiful couple, even many months after they said ‘I Do’!
Not only them but a host of couples who were guests of honour and planning on tying the knot too, one of which I am now looking forward to and working hard to plan for their wedding, which will be taking place very soon in Carlisle.
It was a pleasure to see them again at my studio
But it’s a special guest who didn’t make a visual appearance at the wedding who now steals the show in front my camera! I was delighted when Beccy and Shaun returned for a special Matthew Rycraft Studios newborn shoot with their bouncing beautiful newborn baby, as well as a festive family Christmas shoot.
I always adore revisiting old clients and working with them again and again as their family grows over the years and I am always more than happy to welcome couples back to my award winning studio anytime.
That’s one of the great things about Matthew Rycraft Photography – i’ll be your photographer for life, not just your wedding!
