Gemma and Barry tied the knot in St Georges Hall. Their wedding day was perfect. Gemma got ready at the luxurious Titanic Hotel. Steeped in history, this hotel based on Stanley Dock Liverpool is an attraction in itself.
Together with the Rum Warehouse this building retains its original exterior brick and iron features. This unique venue will wow you from inside out, with 153 stunningly decorated bedrooms and multi sized rooms no matter how big your party is.
Gemma had her daughter in the rooming getting ready. With their close friends and family Chris and Mark Johnson-White from White Haus Hair & Beauty pampering them with the finest champaign, creating stunning hair and make up.
Her bridesmaids wore beautiful full length mint green dresses. Gemma’s dress was stunning and looked like a princess waiting to meet her prince.
Gemma made her way to Liverpool’s St George’s Hall, where Barry was waiting in his striking blue wedding suit. In Liverpool’s vibrant city this Grade 1 listed St George’s Hall was built in the 1800’s and used as a space for festivals and events, now one of the finest buildings in the world.
As Gemma arrived, the heaven’s opened, but that didn’t deter us… she was covered by umbrellas walking up the grand steps outside the hall. These shots are one of many favourites I took throughout the day, as we can never depend on the weather, but I’ll remember and laugh about the moments the weather gives us.
As she walked down the aisle, Barry looked overjoyed with a big smile on his face. His son was his best man and looked very handsome in looking after the rings stood by Barry’s side.
Their ceremony was beautiful and as they walked out as husband and wife, their wedding guests followed them and we had their wedding photographs taken outside St George’s Hall.
With Chris and Mark as family and friends, they were on hand for Gemma’s all important make-up and hair touch-ups throughout the day. As the guests made their way to Hannah’s bar in Liverpool, which features a rooftop terrace and was the perfect wedding venue for Gemma and Barry’s reception.
As the guests relaxed we had the opportunity to capture those first moments as a married couple outside St George’s Hall, before heading over to join them.
