Gift of a wedding Charity
The Gift of a Wedding charity aims to provide its services to those with life shortening or terminal illnesses and, in April last year, its work caught the interest of Liverpool councillor Jake Morrison, who decided to get involved.
Wedding donations
A campaign began via social media and the Liverpool Echo, and now the value of the donations has surpassed the £100,000 mark, with contributions still flooding in today.
Morrison, who is Liverpool’s youngest councillor and began public life back in his teenage years, spoke to the Liverpool Echo and was complimentary of both the charity and his constituents, saying:
“They are working extremely hard and it’s fantastic that the people of Merseyside have helped in this way.”
The generosity of those who have contributed demonstrates the value they have placed on their own joyous occasion, and a professional wedding photographer in Liverpool and the surrounding area certainly understands what this would mean to those who receive the gift of a wedding.
Those who want to apply for its services can do so by visiting the website. Further, the organisation has a nomination process that allows friends or family to nominate someone special to receive the most wonderful of gifts – a wedding.
