Wedding Venue in the Lake District
The fabulous Laura Ashley Belsfield Hotel in Windermere, Lake District is in the perfect location for your wedding day. In June, Victoria and Ben held their wedding day ceremony and celebrations at this beautiful hotel.
Lake Windermere Wedding View
Overlooking Lake Windermere and the fells, this award winning hotel is surrounded by 6 acres of landscaped gardens. As soon as you enter their designed glazed reception area, you will be greeted by the amazing views over Lake Windermere. You are sure to have a variety of wedding photos, with its newly restored exterior and a choice of stunning function rooms and areas. The attention to detail is fabulous, the interiors, Laura Ashley designed furniture and decor in every room with high quality fitting and accessories. Just perfect.
The grooms
As the lovely couple were getting ready for their big day, Ben and his Groomsmen wore Navy Blue suits with pale pink ties and Victoria’s Bridesmaids wore, beautiful floor length dresses in pale pink and Victoria looked stunning in a fitted wedding dress in white, covers in lace.
Wedding ceremony
During their ceremony in the main Belsfield Restaurant, guests looked toward their Bride and Groom saying their vows to each other, with the breathtaking scenery of Lake Windermere as their backdrop. After the ceremony we took the opportunity for the newly married couple to have their photos taken with their friends and family, in and around the hotel.
The Belsfield restaurant
The Belsfield staff transformed the restaurant into Victoria and Ben’s stylish wedding breakfast. Which was delicious, I must say. Including, beautifully decorated tables, each having being name a Lake from around the Lake Disctrict, with Windermere being the Top Table. Victoria chose matching pale pink and ivory flowers for the table centre pieces, with candlelight. After all the hilarious speeches, I took Victoria and Ben outside for their couples’ shoot, which was lovely, having the most beautiful scenery behind them. Whilst their guests enjoyed the evening, before the party started.
Then the evening celebrations began.. After the couple had their romantic first dance together, everyone joined them on the dance floor, from the youngest to the eldest. They all knew how to dance the night away and celebrate in style.
