A summers Colshaw Hall wedding day
In the heart of Cheshire, on a private country estate, you'll find the luxurious and exclusive Wedding Venue, Colshaw Hall. A Grade II listed building, offers stunning views and a perfect wedding day venue.
On a beautiful Summers day, Faye and Adam's wedding day had finally arrived. Both getting ready in the grounds of Colshaw Hall in stunning cottages.
A morning with the groom
Adam had all his Groomsmen, keeping him calm, cool and collected. It was good fun capturing them all together before the day began. One usher had 2 shoes the same, both right, this made for a great joke the whole day. They had their suits made by Whitfield and Wards in Cheshire, the finest taylors around. And it really showed, they all looked fabulous. Adam was handed a gift by Faye which had a pocket watch and a lovely card.
The lads where around to see and was a great opportunity to get some really natural wedding photographs. Once opened we had a quick shoot with all the lads in their finest, great laughs and plenty of jokes, which you cam see from the photos. Adam was take off for a quick shoot along in that fab suit, then it was off to see the girls.
Then to see the bride
Faye was staying in another cottage, getting ready with all her bridesmaids and enjoying their morning together. They really had the run of the Cheshire wedding venue. And with the sun beaming down, floating between each location was a breeze.
We opened up a bottle of fizz to make sure of shooting the girls in their custom wedding night ware, then Faye headed off to get ready for the main event. Mum was on had to help with the veil and dad kept on ice until she was completely ready.
I asked the girls to turn around in the courtyard with their backs to me, so they could see Faye for the first time in her dress. As I thought with the weather being so nice, it would be a great way to capture their reaction outside. And you’ll see from the photos it was priceless.
The Cheshire wedding barn
Traveling to the Barn is so fun on the golf cart and you also get to see the grounds. The ceremony barn is absolutely beautiful, there’s one shot I took whist Faye was waiting to go in which is one of my favs of the day.
It was beautifully decorated by Heather with amazing wedding flowers.
After the ceremony they headed down the isle with an explosion of confetti where I took them from a quick walk around the lake to make use of the beautiful sunshine and surroundings.
The reception venue
Once everyone was back at the wedding venue, sunglasses came out and the wedding afternoon was in full swing. After the group and family wedding photographs both myself and the bride and groom headed for they private portrait shoot around the grounds.
Starting off with the secret gate to the front of the house.
It was then time for the speeches and everyone did a fabulous job, you’ll see from the wedding photographs everyone was enjoying then so much. As the sun started to fall, we were graced with the most beautiful orange sunset sky. Which we couldn’t miss out on. Once done it was time for the evening party and to dance the night away!
