Tower Hill Barns Wedding
Tower Hill Barns is nestled in 10 acres of countryside, a beautiful rural Cheshire family run wedding venue and where Andy and Sophy held their charming wedding day.
Andy and Sophy tied the knot at the luscious Tower Hill Barns, Wrexham. Their day was amazing, from bridal preparations, to the Groom shoot. Saying their vows under the bridge, all the way up to their first dance together as 'Man and Wife' in the refurbished barn.
Family run Cheshire wedding venue
This is a fabulous rustic and rural wedding venue, nestled between Cheshire and North Wales. A family run business with exceptional attention to detail, something Sophy & Andy fell in love with when they stumbled accord this amazing wedding venue. They kept the theme of their wedding in keeping with the location from their flower arrangements, room decorations to the Andy’s Wool Waistcoat. Andy being not only a professional Cheshire wedding photographer, but a friend, meant I wasn’t just attending for work but as a guest.
The morning with the grooms
During the morning Grooms shoot, we made the most of the stunning grounds at Tower Hill Barn. Andy and his Groomsmens enjoyed every minute and I captured some natural and posed shots. Always a good insight for the bride to see after the wedding. Andy being such a good laugh meant it wasn’t difficult to get the boys having some fun on the morning, with plenty of silly jokes floating about!
The brides morning
As for the Bride, Sophy, she had her lovely ladies with her during the morning preparations in a beautiful cottage within the grounds, of the venue. Along with a little ‘tipple’ to celebrate. Capturing these moments are a memory for all to cherish. Sophy wanted the ‘reveal of the dress’ shot and the reaction of her brother, as he sees her for the first time, looking stunning. Sophy’s brother gave her away, and was a touching moment when he walked in to see her for the first time. Her mum, couldn’t hold the tears back either, seeing her only daughter in her wedding dress.
As Sophy left the cottage, Andy was waiting patiently at the alter, under the bridge. She walked down the aisle and met her man, ready for their ceremony to commence. The surroundings of the ceremony location, nestled in-between beautiful green of the fields makes the perfect wedding venue backdrop. As a wedding photographer at Tower Hill Barns, it’s an absolute dream to photograph.
Outside ceremony
After the ceremony and we headed to the Barn where their guests enjoyed reception drinks and canapés. I gathered the wedding party together for their photos with the new Mr & Mrs, by the bridge and the gardens – they all looked stunning. I used the grounds for plenty of wedding photographs of the couple making sure the ceremony archway, which was decorated with bunting featured in lots of wedding photographs. A key highlight to this wedding venue.
Time for the wedding speeches
Always a highlight to hear their stories from their family and friends and capture the natural moments on camera. Afterwards, as some fun and games were put on for the guests, so I whisked the happy couple away for a few more minutes to capture the evening light and some iconic and memorable wedding photos.
