Laura and Ste held their day wedding celebrations with a woodland theme. They wanted a outdoor festival type wedding and this was so much more!
Delamere Forest Wedding Venue
The day was held at the Delamere Forest Wedding Venue. Starting with the couple getting ready in the on site cottages, where they stayed the night. It’s so much more convenient having everything in one location.
We couldn’t believe our luck having the hottest day of the year to hold their wedding day. So much so I had my smart shorts on for the day. You couldn’t ask for a more perfect day. It’s the kind of wedding venue that needs sunshine, but also embraces it.
Outside wedding venue
The ceremony took place under a thatched canopy in the forest followed by games like archery, Segways, rifle shooting and much more. You have the whole venue to yourselves, nothing is out of bounds.
The reception barn that has been purposely decorated for weddings in the perfect attachment to the venue. Completely in keeping with the feel of the location. With the sun setting the band got in to gear, we headed off for a couple of evening shots whilst the BBQ was fired up.
A spectacular fireworks display to end the night and a falcon show to engage the guests, you couldn’t have asked for a more entertaining wedding.
