Rookery Hall Wedding Photography
In August 2015, after their beautiful ceremony and saying their vows at Tarporley Church, Becca & Mike headed with their guests to the gorgeous Cheshire Country House, Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa, Nantwich for their Wedding Day celebrations. Built in 1816 and featuring a French Chateaux tower, this venue is one of the best located wedding venues in Cheshire, truly romantic and surrounded by 38 acres of Cheshire's countryside.
On their big day, Becca felt like it was a bit of mad morning, as everything was so early. She had enjoyed her trip to the hairdressers, Karen Hansen Hairdressing, with her Bridesmaids and then they all enjoyed getting their make-up done at home, on the kitchen breakfast bar, with a glass of bubbly in hand too.
Becca was really excited and couldn’t wait to get walking down the aisle, in front of everyone, becoming Mrs Parker. I met her about 10am at the parents house, a lovely cottage set back overlook Pryors Hayes Golf Club, it was beautiful. Their back garden landscaped to perception provided the best backdrop for the family portraits, whist using the architecture inside for some rustic shots with the dress.
Out front was their long driveway proving the perfect leading line background for some fun wedding photographs with the bridesmaids.
Mike had his Best Man and Usher with him during the morning, helping him to get ready and steady the nerves. Although he was excited too, as the day had finally arrived after they had been planning it for such a long time.
They planned their day well and Becca even created her own table decorations and wedding stationery. Their wedding flowers were arranged beautifully by Ambience Floral Design, Heswall and their wedding cars from Heavenly Wedding Cars. A work colleague Jen from The Missing Raspberry made their wedding cake and Eventures dressed the wedding venue, which looked amazing.
I asked Becca & Mike how they felt on their day and they replied, “We had a great day and everyone we used for the big day were very helpful.
The hotel staff on the day were amazing and made the day run so smoothly and the food was brilliant. James and his band were a big highlight and we don’t think a party would be complete without them, it’s all our guests could talk about the next day.”
I really enjoyed being Becca and Mike’s Wedding Photographer and having the opportunity to photograph Rookery Hall was another highlight of mine. Here are a selection of my favourite images from their wedding day photos. Enjoy!
