A Greek Winter Wedding Day in the Racquet Club, Liverpool
Louise and Chris held their Winter Wedding at the Racquet Club in Liverpool. In the heart of Liverpool’s busy district this historic building is amazing, renowned for its excellent quality of food from the Ziba Restaurant and excelling as one of Liverpool’s ideal wedding venues.
The wedding morning
The morning of their wedding came round quickly and Louise was calm and relaxed, trying to take in every moment. As was Chris, until he realised he had lost the wedding rings whilst being interviews by the registrar… oops!
Although it’s funny now, Chris was somewhat in a state of panic… but all was well in the end. Louise was getting ready with her Mum, Sister and Sister-in-law.
Beautiful wedding attire
Not to mention the beautiful Mother of the bride, Annmarie, who had her outfit from Joanna at Heavens Sent in Southport. Seeing everyone together enjoying themselves and capturing them in the moment, is what every bride wants as part of their day – all girls together time.
As they wanted something different to dress their wedding day, with the help of their Mums, the past 6 months they collected vases to dress the tables with. At 1am, the morning of the wedding, friends and family gathered to dress the venue with tealights, flowers and candles ready for the ceremony.

Their stunning flowers were put together by Sarah Dobb at Inspired Flowers in Birkdale Village, using Roses and Gypsophila. Their beautiful 3 tiered fruit wedding cake was from Ruth at Cake Creations on Wesley St, Southport. It tasted amazing by the way.
Louise and Chris had a Greek influenced wedding throughout their day, with a live greek band playing during their wedding breakfast and throughout the evening. At night the traditional “money dance” was performed, where family and guests pin money to the couple’s clothing during the newlywed dance. This was a first for me, I loved every minute of it.

I asked them how they found me on the day, feedback is imperative for improvement and I always look to maintain exceptionally high standards, “you blended in, you where determined with the shots you wanted and you where flexible when I wanted random pictures.
