Flip flop-brand Havaianas is set to get in on an emerging fashion with a special range of comfortable footwear for wedding parties.
The new wedding trend has seen happy couples gift a set of flip flops to all of their guests, with the aim of easing wear and tear on the feet of those up on the dance floor all night.
The flip flop manufacturer sure will make brides and grooms pay for it though, with a minimum 96-pair purchase at £10 each setting the couple back almost £1,000.
There is always going to be new trends within the wedding industry, but when upmarket retailers join the fray it’s usually an indicator that it’s more than just a passing fad.
Naturally, couples may want plenty of snaps taken with their guests wearing their new gift when it comes to looking at their wedding photos. In the North West, people could indeed see more and more guests retiring to their tables, after showing their moves on the dance floor, with a comfortable pair of flip flops.
However, not all happy couples will feel the need for such a high-class option, with many likely to be interested in some of the more colourful designs, which can make for more unique snaps.
Certainly people today are becoming more and more creative when it comes to wedding favours, and future brides and grooms should not be scared to do that something a little different to set their wedding apart.
