Future brides and grooms in the Merseyside area will be keen to know that the historic Epstein Theatre is now taking bookings for weddings to take place within its hallowed walls.
The Liverpool Echo reported that the famous theatre had already taken its first booking with happy couple Martin Smith and Hannah Moss marrying in spring.
The theatre, which dates back to 1913, will allow the couple to marry on its stage but not before they have enjoyed the wedding breakfast in the Grand Foyer and readied themselves in the dressing rooms.
The blushing bride told the Liverpool Echo:
“Once we got a look at the bar, the stage and particularly the old dressing rooms, we knew this was the place to be. It really is the perfect backdrop. We love the idea of having our guests sitting in the old auditorium and around the stage.”
The unique setting certainly would provide a great of atmosphere for anyone who was intending on reciting their vows here. Given the special venue, it would be a necessity to ensure that the day is recorded skillfully, and for a couple to hire a top wedding photographer, but Liverpool residents can count themselves lucky to have such a beautiful venue to add to their city’s list of wedding hotspots.
The happy couple even went as far as sending out invites in the style of old Epstein Theatre tickets, and perhaps couples planning their own wedding can take inspiration from Martin and Hannah in that a wedding theme can develop naturally, triggered by one aspect of the special day, which in this case was the venue.
