Asda’s George has this week unveiled its new wedding collection for cash strapped brides and grooms.
The range focuses primarily on attire for bridesmaids and pageboys, which can often multiply the cost of a couple’s happy day, and tries to ensure stylish fashion at a low cost.
The new offering is aimed at those aged between 9 months and 14 years, and Asda claims that a young flower girl can be fully fitted out for £28 and pageboys for £51 which, it says, is half the price of the retailer’s nearest rivals.
A spokesman said:
“George was the first supermarket retailer to offer wedding clothing for adults in 2008 and it was a huge success. We want brides and grooms to have a perfect day to remember that doesn’t break the bank, and now they can have as many supporting cast as they need.”
For couples on a budget, it certainly makes sense to purchase cut price outfits for the wedding party, though naturally, couples will not want to skimp on their wedding photography packages. North West England, for example, can certainly rely on a professional wedding photographer who can record the special day with taste and style.
In these difficult financial times, brides and grooms will be looking to do everything they can to ensure that their happy day is planned within the budget they have. If the right photographer is used, this day can be looked upon fondly for many years to come by the joyous couple and their family.
