Historical southport wedding venue
Southport’s historical manor house, Meols Hall, was the venue for Carly and Philips wedding in June. What a beautiful day it was, the sun was shining and it is always a pleasure to shoot wedding photographs at this lovely venue.
Travelling from Liverpool
The day began in Liverpool, at Carly’s mums house, which was familiar to me as I was the photographer for Carly’s sister, Emma, last year when she married Chris at the Hillbark Hotel. I spent a few hours taking photographs of the bridal party getting ready for the ceremony. Carly looked stunning, as did her five bridesmaids who travelled to Meols Hall in a vintage VW camper van.
A great backdrop for wedding photographs
Philip, his best man and three ushers were photographed in the grounds of Meols Hall, which is always an amazing backdrop for wedding pictures. The ceremony, as usual, was held in the beautiful Tithe Barn, followed by a delicious meal by Carringtons Catering, their food exquisite as always. While guests relaxed in the sunshine, I was lucky enough to have some time for a stroll around the grounds with Carly and Philip and capture some beautiful sunset wedding photographs.
