Southport College Photography Department
I had a lovely morning today presenting to 30 Photography Students at Southport College. My inspiring talk on photography to the students of the course I did 20 years ago, brought my right back to how I felt when I was their age. And lets face it, no one know what they wanted to do at that age.
In 1997 I started my B-Tec NVQ just like these guys at the same college, I even paid a visit to the old B&W labs I used to use! My talk was a action packed couple of hours discussing the last 20 years of my career as a Wedding Photographer… quickly I may add… that put me and the business in the position its in now.
From lighting set ups, lots of behind the scenes videos and images. Along with The business side of photography, branding, my progression, my plans, my aspirations and move to Phottix Professional Lighting Equipment.
I’m hopefully working with the college to take a few photography students out in September for a live shoot! Can’t wait to see if we pull this off! For now here’s a video I created for my introduction.
